PACKAGE PROTECTION PLAN


Overview

Package Protection is an optional service offered by Rodeo Mart to help protect orders against certain issues that may occur while a package is in transit from Rodeo Mart to the delivery address provided by the customer.

Package Protection is an optional service provided by Rodeo Mart for eligible transit-related claims.

Coverage under this Plan applies only to events occurring during transit and delivery. It does not apply to product performance, normal use, or events occurring after delivery that are unrelated to shipping or handling.


1. Covered Events

1.1 Lost Packages

Coverage applies to packages that are determined to be lost during transit and cannot be located by the carrier.

1.2 Misdelivered Packages

Coverage applies when available evidence indicates that a package was delivered to an incorrect address.

If the package is recovered and successfully delivered to the correct address, the claim will be considered resolved.

If the package cannot be recovered, it will be treated as a lost package.

1.3 Theft

Coverage applies to packages that are reported as stolen during transit or after delivery and are approved following review of the claim.

Rodeo Mart may request supporting documentation before approving a theft claim.

1.4 Damage During Transit

Coverage applies to physical damage to the contents of a package that occurs while the package is in the possession of the carrier.

Damage limited solely to the external packaging is not covered unless the contents are also damaged.


2. Exclusions

2.1 Delivery Delays

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed and are not covered under this Plan.

This includes delays caused by weather, carrier volume, transportation disruptions, labor shortages, operational issues, or other circumstances outside Rodeo Mart's control.

2.2 Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Coverage does not apply when the shipping address provided by the customer is incorrect, incomplete, undeliverable, or otherwise results in delivery issues.

2.3 Package Refusal or Abandonment

Coverage does not apply to packages refused, abandoned, or otherwise not accepted by the recipient.

2.4 Product Issues Unrelated to Transit

Coverage does not apply to manufacturing defects, product quality concerns, normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage after delivery, electrical or mechanical failures, or any issue unrelated to shipping or transit.

2.5 Customer Ordering Errors

Coverage does not apply when a customer orders the incorrect item, size, color, model, configuration, or custom specification.

2.6 Fraudulent Claims

Coverage does not apply to claims determined by Rodeo Mart to be fraudulent, misleading, unsupported, or intentionally false.

2.7 Packaging Damage Only

Coverage does not apply when only the external packaging is damaged and the contents remain unaffected.


3. Claims Process

3.1 Filing Deadline

Claims for lost packages must be submitted within 30 days of the last carrier tracking update.

All other claims must be submitted within 15 days of the recorded delivery date.

3.2 Required Information

Claims must include:

  • Order number
  • Tracking number
  • Description of the issue
  • Images when applicable

For damage claims, clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging must be provided.

Additional documentation may be requested when necessary to evaluate a claim.

3.3 Submission Method

Claims must be submitted by email to support@rodeomart.com.


4. Claim Resolution

4.1 Review Process

All claims are reviewed individually using available order records, tracking information, photographs, and supporting documentation provided by the customer.

4.2 Return of Damaged Products

Rodeo Mart may require the return of damaged products before approving a claim. If a return is required, Rodeo Mart will provide a prepaid return label.

4.3 Resolution Options

Approved claims may be resolved, at Rodeo Mart's discretion, by:

  • Replacement of the affected item
  • Substitution of the affected item for different variant
  • Refund

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Maximum Liability

Rodeo Mart's maximum liability under this Plan shall not exceed the purchase price of the covered items included in the affected shipment.

Shipping charges, taxes, Package Protection fees, and other ancillary charges are excluded from reimbursement unless otherwise required by law.

5.2 Excluded Damages

Coverage is limited to the value of the covered products.

Rodeo Mart shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost business opportunities
  • Travel expenses
  • Competition fees
  • Missed events
  • Emotional distress
  • Inconvenience

6. Premium and Payment

6.1 Cost

The Package Protection fee is calculated and displayed during checkout.

6.2 Non-Refundable Fee

The Package Protection fee is non-refundable once an order has been placed.


7. General Provisions

7.1 Modifications

Rodeo Mart reserves the right to modify, amend, or discontinue this Plan at any time. Changes will not affect Package Protection purchased before the effective date of the change.

7.2 Claim Determinations

Claim determinations are made in good faith based on the information available at the time of review.
