Shipping Insurance Policy

Overview: This Comprehensive Shipping Insurance Policy ("Policy") provided by Rodeo Mart offers protection for packages against a variety of risks during transit. The Policy is optional and available for deselection at the time of purchase.

Coverage: This Policy extends to various incidents, including but not limited to:

  • 2.1 Damage to Contents: Coverage for physical damage to the contents of the package shipped. Damage will not be covered if the damage is of the package only.
  • 2.2 Loss of Package: Coverage for packages that are lost in transit.
  • 2.3 Theft of Package: Coverage for packages stolen during transit or upon delivery.
  • 2.4 Weather-Related Damage: Coverage for damage caused by severe weather conditions during transit.
  • 2.5 Electrical or Mechanical Derangement: Coverage for the malfunction of electronic or mechanical items without visible external damage.
  • 2.6 Incorrect or Missing Items: Coverage for errors such as incorrect or missing items in the shipment that are the fault of Rodeo Mart.
Exclusions: This Policy excludes various incidents, including but not limited to:
    • 3.0 Shipping Transit Time: No coverage for packages that arrive later than the estimated delivery date. This policy acknowledges that shipping times are not guaranteed by shipping companies, and as such, Rodeo Mart does not provide coverage for packages that are delivered after the estimated date.
    • 3.1 Package Abandonment/Refusal: No coverage for packages abandoned or refused by the recipient.
    • 3.2 Incorrect/Incomplete Address by Customer: No coverage for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
    • 3.3 Packaging Damage Only: No coverage when only the packaging is damaged, without affecting the product.
    • 3.4 Fraudulent Claims: No coverage for claims found to be fraudulent.
    • 3.5 Incorrect Orders: No coverage is provided for situations where the customer orders the incorrect items or makes errors in their order details. This includes but is not limited to:
      • selecting the wrong product size
      • selecting the wrong product color
      • selecting the wrong product model
      • providing incorrect specifications on custom items
    Claim Process:
      • 4.1 Notification: Claims must be reported to support@rodeomart.com within 15 days of the order date (or from date of shipment for drop-shipped items).
      • 4.2 Documentation: Photographic evidence of damage, along with any relevant documentation, is required for processing claims.
      • 4.3 Submission Method: Claims and supporting documents must be submitted via email to support@rodeomart.com.
      Settlement of Claims:
        • 5.1 Assessment: Each claim will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
        • 5.2 Return of Damaged Products: In cases where a claim is approved for damaged products, the customer is required to return the damaged items to Rodeo Mart. The cost of shipping for these returns will be covered by Rodeo Mart.
        • 5.3 Resolution Options: Valid claims may be resolved through repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the claim.
        Limitations of Liability:
          • 6.1 Value Cap: Liability is limited to the declared value of the package.
          • 6.2 Exclusion of Indirect Damages: Liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded.
          Premiums and Payment:
            • 7.1 Cost: The premium cost is a pre calculated percentage of the order value.
            • 7.2 Payment Terms: Premiums are due at the time of purchase.
            General Provisions:
              • 8.1 Amendments: The Policy may be amended by Rodeo Mart at its discretion without prior notice.
